RVNG F8X/S55 Intercooler Upgrade for BMW M Models

The factory BMW S55 intercooler was never built for serious boost — a plastic unit with a restrictive tube-and-fin core that becomes a weak point the moment you go past stock power. The RVNG S55 Air-to-Water Intercooler fixes that.

Unlike standard black powder-coated units, every RVNG intercooler is finished in a high-temperature black ceramic coating. Ceramic insulates far better, cutting heat soak and reflecting radiant heat away from the core — so you get cooler charge temps, longer sustained pulls, and more consistency under heavy load. Designed with 3D scanning and CAD for a true OEM-fit bolt-in, it pairs CFD-optimized cast aluminum end tanks (with internal flow-directing fins) to a high-density dual-pass bar-and-plate core for stable intake temps even on extended pulls. Every unit is hand-welded, pressure-tested, and quality-checked before it leaves the facility.
