This setup is a complete plug and play unit for most Porsches that give the driver full control over the exhaust valves. For cars like the 991.1 Carrera S without sports exhaust, the factory exhaust has valves, but there is no button to open and close these valves. Our controller puts the power in your hands. These Controllers FIT ALL PORSCHES WITH VACUUM EXHAUST VALVES. For all Porsche enthusiasts interested in controlling their exhaust valves this is the product for you. The installation is incredibly simple and is completely plug and play.

***** IMPORTANT NOTE (PLEASE REVIEW) : For Carrera models, 991.1+ and Cayman/Boxter models 981+ These require a separate power source to operate the valves. You will need to tap into an external power source in the engine bay for the controller to operate properly. Ultimately this controller will work, but it is more labor-intensive. Additionally for certain models, Porsche within the lifecycle of the vehicle has changed the polarity of certain exhaust valve components. This means that your exhaust valve controller might be in the opposite orientation to the factory control setup. Simply swap the pins on the controller and the controller will operate properly. The reason for this is Porsche uses a lot of different suppliers for their solenoids. It is as simple as switching the power and ground wires in the controller to make it operate properly. If your controller does not plug and play we recommend consulting a professional to install the controller for you

ADDITIONALLY:

Due to supplier changes on the OEM side, the controller may need to have it's polarity switched. For some 997 and 991 cars, it is plug and play. For others, due to a change in OEM valve solenoid supplier, the power and ground may need to be switched. We have designed the controller to be easily reversible.
