CTS Turbo VW MK6 Golf R 3" Turbo Back Exhaust

CTS Turbo's MK6 Golf R turbo-back exhaust is built by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, hand TIG-welded from the finest T304 stainless steel and engineered for both street use and big-turbo abuse. Where many MK6 R20 2.0T exhausts choke peak power with 2.5"/2.75" tubing, this true 3" design is ideal for chasing serious horsepower.

Built right

Each downpipe is 100% TIG-welded from 3" T304 seamless stainless steel and includes stainless clamps — no seamed tubing that can crack and decay. It eliminates the factory downpipe, increases turbo spool and peak power, and the larger 3" diameter lets exhaust gases exit the turbo and wastegate with less turbulence for more power and torque across the powerband. With the Golf R's factory K04 turbo, an upgraded downpipe is a particularly potent modification.

Proper tuning software must be used to clear the CEL that will occur; a high-flow cat is recommended, and a Stage 2 software upgrade is strongly recommended. Stage 2 software is required to avoid a check engine light.
