MQB Turbo Upgrade Kit - Discontinued

Note: superseded by CTS-TR-1010-71. CTS Turbo built this as the first genuinely bolt-on big-turbo upgrade for the MQB platform — a modular BOSS (Bolt-On Speed Solution) package good for upwards of 600hp, anchored by a real Garrett Gen2 GTX turbocharger for long-term reliability.

Why the in-house housing matters

The Garrett Gen2 GTX core is installed into a CTS proprietary exhaust housing, cast and machined to fit any exhaust downpipe. Its scroll area targets roughly 0.63 A/R for strong boost response with no restriction. Stuffing a larger turbo into a stock housing gains you nothing, so CTS engineered their own. A custom wastegate solenoid bracket and oil/water lines complete the kit for simple install, simple tuning and trouble-free operation, with proprietary molded silicone hoses connecting the turbo to your outlet pipe and air intake.

Compatibility

• Currently compatible only with a CTS Turbo intake; other intakes may work but cannot be supported
• CTS Turbo or other billet diverter/blow-off valve; factory DV works with a harness extension
• OEM or CTS Turbo outlet pipe only at this time
