CTS Turbo's lowering springs for the MK8 Golf R are made from high-quality SAE 9254 / DIN 54SiCr6 spring steel wire, so they're safe, strong, and won't fatigue over time.

They're tuned for the street — focused on handling, braking, and responsiveness without a harsh ride. Engineered and tested in-house, they showed no detriment or deterioration to the OEM strut over long-term use, so they hold their performance for years. Lowering adds an aggressive look, closes the wheel gap, and gets you closer to that flush stance without compromising daily drivability.
