CTS Rear Subframe Mount Insert Kit for MQB AWD vehicles

The CTS MQB AWD Rear Subframe Mount Insert Kit sharpens the responsiveness of the rear suspension and differential on the MQB platform. MQB Audi/Volkswagens with Haldex AWD use rubber rear subframe mounts that can feel sloppy when driven at the limit. This kit fills the voids in the factory mounts while limiting vertical movement, holding rear geometry in place for better cornering and a more responsive drive.

Can be paired with CTS-HW-216 on AWD models to complete your rear subframe upgrade. We strongly recommend replacing the factory torque-to-yield bolts when installing these inserts.

Torque specs

• New subframe bolt: 70 Nm + 180°
• Used subframe bolts: 90 Nm + blue thread lock

• 2 x CTS billet aluminum MQB AWD rear subframe insert (front, CTS-HW-257-01)
• 2 x CTS billet aluminum MQB AWD rear subframe insert (rear, CTS-HW-257-02)

Optional: 4 x rear subframe stretch bolts (recommended).
