CTS MK6 Golf R 2.0T Direct Fit FMIC Kit

The CTS MK6 Golf R 2.0T direct-fit FMIC kit is a drop-in replacement for the OEM front-mounted intercooler, installing with no trimming or modification of the bumper. The factory FMIC suits stock boost, but once you raise boost with ECU upgrades it struggles to keep charged-air temperatures in check, and higher temps cause boost cut and timing pull that rob power. The high-efficiency bar-and-plate core reduces pressure drop, so the turbo does not work as hard for a given boost level — longer turbo life and cooler, denser charge air for more power to the ground.
