CTS B-Cool Billet Oil Filter Housing 2.0T FSI, 2.5L 5-cylinder and 2.5T 5-cylinder

The OE plastic oil filter housing turns brittle and cracks with age. The CTS Turbo B-Cool Billet Oil Filter Housing is the durable answer, machined in house from T6061 aluminum with built-in cooling fins that act as a heatsink to keep engine oil temperatures down.

Installation

• Drain oil from the filter housing
• Use a 36mm socket to remove the factory oil filter housing
• Install the new filter and fit the new filter housing o-ring to the CTS housing
• Reinstall on the car, torque to 18 ft/lbs, and refill engine oil

• Installation of CTS-HW-0242 requires removing the center cage from the OE housing cap, which snaps into the CTS billet housing
• OE-style threads precision-made to fit just like the factory part (other manufacturers do not make this thread)
• Compatible with OEM filter

Fits Audi, VW, SEAT and SKODA models with EA113 2.0T FSI engines, 2.5L 5-cylinder engines, and 2.5T 5-cylinder turbo engines. Replaces OE part numbers 06D 115 408B and 07K 115 408.
