The 3 modifications that unlock the most G87 M2 power

1. G87 M2 downpipes (S58)

The OEM S58 downpipes are restrictive primary cats. Replacing them is the single biggest power gain you can make on the G87 - typically 30 to 50 whp added with a Stage 2 BM3 tune, plus dramatically improved turbo spool. 2. G87 M2 midpipe and exhaust

The factory G87 M2 OPF (otto particulate filter) midpipe restricts exhaust note and flow. Swap it for the IRL V2 G87 midpipe for a louder, more aggressive sound, or go with the MAD resonated single midpipe if you want the volume increase without drone. 3. G87 M2 BM3 (Bootmod3) S58 tune

The ARM S58 intake is the proven, drop-in carbon airbox upgrade. The MAD carbon fiber cold air intake and the MAD front-mount silicone intakes are alternatives that change intake sound character.

G87 chassis bracing

The S58 produces massive torque (479 lb-ft from the factory) and chassis flex becomes a real issue with sticky tires. The Valvetronic Designs G87 Extended Chassis Brace ties the rear subframe tighter to the chassis and improves rear-axle stability under load.
