The MAD Resonated Single Midpipe is built for S58 owners who want a meaner exhaust note without the harsh, ragged rasp that plagues so many G80/G82 setups. By swapping the factory dual-pipe arrangement for a single titanium pipe and adding a dedicated resonator, it opens the car up while keeping the tone clean and controlled.

What it does

• Secondary cat & resonator delete: removes the two resonators and two secondary catalytic converters built into the stock midpipe. The primary cats in your downpipes stay in place, so you keep a clean tune and no check engine light.
• Resonator-tuned tone: the factory midpipe leans on extra pipes, cats and resonators to bury the engine's voice. This single-pipe layout strips that restriction out, while the resonator shaves off the unwanted rasp and drone — leaving a balanced, aggressive sound.
• Dialled-in, not deafening: a smart pick if you love volume but don't want your M3 or M4 screaming at every start-up. It reads noticeably angrier than stock without crossing into obnoxious territory, and it's the ideal partner for upgraded downpipes since the resonator tames their rasp.
• Deep where it counts: expect a rich midrange and a hard-edged top end that cuts through without any high-pitched fizz.
