The ARM 4.0T Intake Heat Shield separates the intake air from the heat generated by the engine. This allows your 4.0T to pull in more cool, fresh air from outside the engine bay.
CONSTRUCTION
The ARM 4.0T Intake Heat Shield is designed to work with the ARM 4.0T Intake. The ARM Heat Shield is designed with two openings for the ARM Intake runners to pass through, allowing the ARM Heat Shield to seal with the hood insulation keeping more cool air on the filter-side of the intake.
The ARM Heat Shield has two mounting points integrated on the bottom-side to help secure it in place during aggressive driving.
