AUDI 8V A3 CATTED DOWNPIPE - FWD

The ARM A3 Catted Downpipe is an essential upgrade for getting the most from your Gen 3 EA888 engine. The stock downpipe uses a dense catalyst that chokes exhaust flow, raising back-pressure, increasing turbo lag and making the turbo work harder. The ARM downpipe significantly improves flow — for faster spool, more power and torque, and a better note — and lets you safely run Stage 2+ boost targets that the stock downpipe can't handle above ~25 psi.

Construction

TIG-welded T304 stainless in a single-piece design that eliminates the exhaust leaks and install issues of multi-piece downpipes. Laser-cut mounting bracket and CNC-machined prongs match the stock mounting points. Includes both a 2.5" reducer (stock exhaust) and a 3" adapter (upgraded catback), joined by a CNC-machined V-band for a sturdier, more reliable seal than slip-fit or bolt-on. A single 200-cell high-flow catalyst reduces emissions and odor; a stainless flex section relieves turbo stress. Paired with a proper tune, gains reach up to 60 whp and 105 wtq on the stock IS20 turbo. (A catless version with a 4" resonator in place of the catalyst is also available.)
