Pinion Brace 02A/02J
In high-HP applications, stress loads can be high enough to make the input shaft twist and push out toward the clutch — destroying the transmission case. This pinion brace is designed to prevent exactly that.
It bolts easily into the transmission bell-housing and is a cheap insurance policy for any car running an 02A or 02J transmission.
Fits
- Any vehicle with an 02A or 02J transmission
Note: some transmission case filing may be required due to variations in the castings. Follow factory torque specs for fasteners: 18 ft/lbs + 1/4 turn.
