The factory MQB AWD downpipe was built for anything but performance — it badly restricts exhaust flow and chokes horsepower, especially once your car is chipped. This CTS Turbo 3.5" stainless steel high-flow cat for the MK7/MK7.5 Golf AWD, Golf R and 8V Audi S3 lets gases flow smoothly and frees up the power you want, while looking great. A modular design keeps catalytic converter installation simple and straightforward.

To clear the CEL that will occur, proper tuning software must be used. The optional CEL eliminator greatly reduces the chance of a CEL for the cat-efficiency code, though it is not 100% effective. CTS recommends disabling your Soundaktor (noise amplifier) to fully enjoy the engine and remove excessive drone. Stage 2 software is required to avoid a check engine light.
