CTS Turbo K04 Upgrade for Audi A4/A5/AllRoad/Q5 2.0T

CTS Turbo's K04 upgrade for B7, B8 and B8.5 Audi A4/A5/AllRoad/Q5 2.0T uses a full-frame K04 CHRA installed into a proprietary, in-house compressor cover and turbine housing. Based on the turbo that ships stock on the MK6 Golf R, it fits directly in place of the factory Borg Warner or IHI unit.

Engineered properly

The compressor cover and exhaust housing are built to work with the larger K04 CHRA as intended — not an oversized CHRA forced into a small factory-spec housing, which does not flow well for the larger turbine wheel and can cause poor performance and premature failure. High-quality castings are CNC-machined to replace your factory turbo with no extra parts — all you need is an ECU tune. OEM gaskets and installation hardware are supplied to make it easy.

Notes

• Aftermarket high-flow catalytic converter or test-pipe required; not recommended with the factory cat
• Aftermarket intake and intercooler recommended
• K04-specific tuning required (B7 A4 requires upgraded HPFP and fuel injectors)
• Bracket on the factory coolant line may require trimming on some models
