CTS Turbo FRONT Subframe Bushing Insert Kit: MK5/MK6/8P Audi A3 with ARP Bolts

The CTS Turbo billet subframe bushing insert kit cures the dreaded clunk that MK5 and MK6 owners know all too well — the result of factory subframe bolts stretching and failing over time. This kit addresses the OEM TSB for the clunk the right way, tightening up the large factory tolerances at the subframe mounting points. This version ships with upgraded ARP bolts.

Features

• Interlocking subframe shims center the front subframe to the body
• Machined in-house from T6061 billet aluminum
• Includes OE-replacement stretch bolts (4) plus upgraded ARP bolts (2)
• Eliminates subframe clunks and shifting

Kit components

• 6 x upper insert
• 6 x lower insert
• 4 x short OE bolts
• 2 x ARP long bolts

Torque specs

• ARP bolts = 85 Nm (can be re-used)
• 18mm bolts = 70 Nm + 180° (do not re-use)
• 16mm bolts = 50 Nm + 90° (can be re-used once)
• 13mm bolts = 20 Nm + 90° (can be re-used once)

• MK5 GTI/GLI/R32/Jetta/Rabbit
• MK6 GTI/Golf R/Golf - aluminum subframe only, will not fit Jettas with steel subframe
• 8P Audi A3/S3
• B6 Passat/Passat CC

A wheel alignment is required after installation.
