CTS Turbo EA888.3 Gen3 Intake Manifold Flap Delete
The CTS Turbo Runner Flap Delete (RFD) clears the restrictive intake flappers out of the factory EA888.3 Gen3 manifold — including on Golf R models. Those factory flappers can be a real airflow restriction on a modified car, so pulling them lets the intake breathe.
With proper tuning, expect a gain of 8 whp. We strongly recommend pairing the RFD with updated tuning software to get the most out of it.
Important notes
- Not every piece is identical — two inserts differ from the rest, so check the photo for correct install locations
- RFD-specific software tuning is required; contact your tuner for availability
Fitment
- MK7 GTI, Golf R, 8V A3, S3, EA888.3 Gen3 engines only
- Fits 1.8T and 2.0T Gen3 motors
- Not for FSI/TSI/TFSI (EA888.1 or EA888.2) or EA113 cars
