CTS Turbo BB-550 MQB Hybrid Turbocharger Upgrade

CTS Turbo's premium ball-bearing hybrid turbo with a stainless steel exhaust housing is a direct-bolt-on upgrade for 2015+ MQB vehicles running a factory IS12, IS20 or IS38.

Purpose-built housings, not reworked factory parts

Rather than stuffing a Mitsubishi CHRA into a factory housing, CTS re-designed and cast a proprietary stainless steel exhaust housing to accommodate a larger turbine wheel. The compressor cover is custom-profiled to accept the popular TD06 billet compressor wheel, so the turbo reliably handles 30+ PSI. The CHRA is a dual ceramic ball-bearing unit, finished on a VSR high-speed balancer. It is a brand-new turbocharger — no core, no long wait — just swap your actuator and turbo outlet fitting. Software tuning is required and available from most tuners.

Always follow the proper procedure for checking and adjusting the wastegate actuator when installing, and always replace engine oil. Gaskets, wastegate actuator and turbo outlet fitting are not included.
