CTS A3 (8P) 2.0T Direct Fit FMIC Kit

The CTS A3 (8P) 2.0T direct-fit FMIC kit is a drop-in replacement for the OEM front-mounted intercooler, so it installs with no trimming or modification of the bumper. The factory FMIC is fine at stock boost, but once you raise boost with ECU upgrades it struggles to keep charged-air temperatures in check — and higher charged-air temps lead to boost cut and timing pull, both robbing power. This high-efficiency bar-and-plate core reduces pressure drop, so your turbo does not work as hard to reach a given boost level. The payoff is two-fold: longer turbo life from more efficient operation, and cooler, denser charge air for more power to the ground.
